Team Kapi wins the Luluwaki Sheild for 2024
The Law Student Society (LSS) hosts annual fun day to be remembered.
The main idea behind the fun day was to bring students together, and to know who is in which LLB program.
The fun day was organized by the executives of the LSS.
“If you are in second year you do not most of the other students who are in the same year as you. Therefore, this fun day is to bring together students as a class to know each other and at least have some fun outside the school”,says Daniel Makap, LSS president.
This fun day was hosted in the first week of semester two. As a result almost everyone in the law school took part in the game activities. The Dean gave out permission to cancel all classes on that particular day.
In order to make the fun day memorable for the students,
We decided to have printed shirts. The society gave funds to each colt, K100 each to buy their banners and water bottles. We told them come to their best banner, best team spirit and best war cry. As we have prices for each of these, we told them to prepare in advance as well as for the dance competition, that is after the games.

Each year they have different colored shirt, and that color shirt have to stay with them until they reach their final years.
The name for the colored shirts is, Team Kapi (green), Team Kidu (blue), Team Injia (red), Team Ameht (yellow).
These names represent the Papua New Guinea Chief Justice.
The Luluwaki shield was won by LLB 4 Team Kapi (green).
They were on a close match with LLB1 but won by two points difference.
